Just trying out the “Blog Post” template in the new version of Word. It seems to be fairly well integrated, and makes good use of the new “ribbon” feature by putting blogs specific stuff in a prominent place once you fire up a new post. I can see a lot of people wanting to use this feature to get all the wiz-bang Word features for editing long post, but I hope it doesn’t do stupid stuff like put unescaped, Windows-specific “smart” quotes in the post and such. That’s one of my pet peeves reading other folks blogs.
